We have the Moose Lodge, Lynx Cabin, Timberwolf Cabin, Commercial Store, and Sauna open for business. Our total Base camp capacity is approximately 20-24. As with our summer outfitting and cabin rentals, you create your adventure, we assist in any way possible to make it happen, that simple.
FUN FACT: Freeze up months of November and early December are full of adventure and beautiful sites. If you are a skater or lake walker, some incredible open lake skating and walking can be yours, simply call us to ask about conditions. We live here year round and these shoulder seasons are always our favorites when Mother Nature transitions from summer to fall and fall to winter.

Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW) Designated as International Dark Sky Sanctuary
The Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW) in northeastern Minnesota has been designated as an International Dark Sky Sanctuary by the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA). This prestigious recognition makes the BWCAW the largest Dark Sky Sanctuary in the world, covering an area of over 1,098,000 acres.

FUN FACT: This is the first year of year round living and rentals at this Historic Lodge since past owners Dan and Sue Churchill over a decade ago. Our new Solar Installation has made it affordable and we want to share this beautiful and magnificent Boundary Waters location with you, our guest. Customers in the summer like our relaxed approach to nature’s enjoyment and easy access to all that is literally out the front door.
